TERMS OF SALES
These General Conditions of Sale are intended for the use of the reservation of stays in the guest house "LE CARGE D'ARLAY" located 280 chemin du Carge d'Arlay in Charnay-lès-Mâcon 71850.
They constitute the reservation contract between the owners and the customer for a stay in a bed and breakfast or gîte.
Our engagement :
The owners undertake to do everything possible to give their guests a warm welcome, ensure them a pleasant stay and make it easier for them to get to know the Region.
Acceptance of the general conditions of sale:
These conditions of sale are subject to change at any time without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these general conditions of sale are deemed acquired upon payment of the deposit. Failure to comply with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the etiquette instructions may be considered as breach of contract at the Customer's initiative. In case of departure of the customer, no refund can be considered.
Length of stay :
This reservation contract is concluded for a defined period between the owner and the Host. The Customer may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises without the agreement of the owners.
During public holidays or events, a minimum number of nights may be requested.
Validation of the reservation:
After receipt of your reservation, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail and we ask you to pay the deposit within one week. The reservation is effective upon receipt of the deposit. In the event of non-payment during the specified period, the owners reserve the right to dispose of the guest room(s) or the gîte. The deposit is cashed upon receipt of your shipment. An acknowledgment of receipt will confirm receipt of the deposit. The payment of the deposit can be made:
• By bank check (bank domiciled in France, check payable to Le Carge d'Arlay),
• By credit card,
• By bank transfer according to the RIB which will be communicated to you.
Cancellation by the Customer:
Any cancellation must be notified by letter (Le Carge d'Arlay located at 280 chemin du Carge d'Arlay in Charnay-lès-Mâcon 71850) or email contact@lecargedarlay.com sent to owners.
In case of cancellation:
• More than 10 days before the start of the stay, the owners keep the deposit paid and reserve the right to claim full payment for the stay.
• Less than or equal to 10 days before the start of the stay will result in the payment of the entire stay. Any stay started is due in full.
We advise you to take out travel cancellation insurance at your own expense. Consult your insurer for this.
Prices displayed on site:
The prices displayed correspond to those obtained when registering directly with our site: www.lecargedarlay.com
The price indicated, in the heading tariffs, is for a room occupied by 1 or 2 people, the night, the breakfasts. Free WIFI. The tourist tax of 0.75€/night/adult is to be added to the price of each room or the gite.
Our reservations are subject to a minimum deposit of 40% per night and per room .
Arriving time :
The Customer must present himself on the specified day of the reservation from 4:00 p.m. Notify by telephone in case of arrival after 7:00 p.m. Without notice and if the Customer does not show up before 7:00 p.m., the day scheduled for the start of the stay, this contract becomes void and the owners may dispose of the guest room(s) or the gîte. The amount of the deposit remains with the owners and the entire reserved stay must be paid.
Breakfast times:
Breakfasts are served between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. (with exceptions and according to request made the day before)
Departure time :
The rooms must be vacated by 11 a.m. at the latest.
Payment of the accommodation balance:
To avoid any dispute (number of nights, hasty departure, etc.), the payment of the balance (without discount) will be made upon your arrival (after checking the services: room, environment, etc.).
Payment can be made by cheque, cash or credit card. Holiday vouchers are not accepted.
Consumption and additional services will be payable at the end of the stay to the owner.
Change of room:
Without the Customer being able to claim any compensation, the owners reserve the right to change the room initially reserved by the Customer for a room of the same capacity. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.
Access:
Access to the rooms (stairs) may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility. We have a room on the ground floor, accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Capacity:
This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of customers exceeds this number, the owners are entitled to refuse the additional people. This refusal cannot be considered as a modification of the contract at the initiative of the owners. In case of departure of the Customer, no refund can be considered.
Animals :
Cats roam freely on the property.
Animals can be accepted on prior request, with the owners, who will decide to accept or refuse their arrival.
Art of living-Use of premises:
Respect for a certain art of living is required of all guests in order to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of its guests.
In addition, it is requested:
• Not to smoke in the rooms and inside the buildings. Smoking is possible on the outdoor terraces and in the park using the ashtrays provided or on request.
• Not to eat in the bedrooms. Specific places are available.
Any disrespectful attitude or remarks towards other guests and/or owners and their families may result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation without any compensation.
The Customer undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare and financially assume any damage for which he may be responsible.
Equipment and maintenance:
• Rooms are rented with bed linen and bath towels provided. Towels are changed at your request.
• Pool towels are provided (please do not take shower towels).
• Loss or damage of room keys will result in a charge of 75 Euros. The room keys must be returned before the final departure from the premises.
• Although it is traditional for visitors to put away bedding, effects and clothes, the owner carries out a cleanliness visit every day, in particular to empty the bins and renew the linen if necessary. This passage of cleanliness is carried out only insofar as the room is not occupied.
• Valuables (jewellery, MultiMedia devices, various means of payment, etc.) must not be left in the rooms or in parked vehicles, the owners declining all responsibility in the event of the disappearance of these objects.
Pool :
• The swimming pool is open from 10 am to 9 pm (in season).
• The shower is mandatory before swimming.
• The use of the swimming pool is reserved only for people staying in guest rooms, owners (members of their family or friends).
• Use of the swimming pool by children is under the full supervision and sole responsibility of their parents.
• Young children must be provided with special swimming pool nappies.
Responsibilities:
Le Carge d'Arlay, the owners and their families accept no responsibility for loss, theft and/or damage to property or injury to anyone on the property, regardless of the cause. Use of the swimming pool is entirely at the users' own risk.
Visitors, access to places:
Visitors of clients in bed and breakfast are accepted only after agreement of the owners. Access to the Carge d'Arlay is reserved for declared customers and visitors. The transmission of keys to visitors or other persons is not tolerated and may lead to the immediate cancellation of the reservation.
Use of air conditioning
Our rooms are equipped with an air conditioning system. This works optimally with doors and windows closed. If we notice that this precaution is not respected in a notorious way, we will proceed with the decommissioning of this installation. In addition, it is imperative to stop the air conditioning during your absences. Use of the kitchenette
This is a common space. For the respect of all, we thank you for leaving it in an impeccable state. Barbecue
A barbecue is at your disposal; we draw your attention that its use is entirely under your responsibility.
Outdoor games and equipment
Outdoor games and equipment are available to children under the full supervision and responsibility of their parents.
Wireless
Each room is equipped with a wifi network. No download should be made by this means.
Visits and catering:
For your walks, visits, discoveries, leisure and catering; we will advise you.
Dispute:
In the event of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable agreement, only the dispute resolution authorities of the place on which the owners depend will be competent.
